Bill and Corinne met through my sister Eva. Corinne and Eva were good friends and would hang out often which included my brother at times. There had been mutual interest in each other, however, when Bill followed us to Penticton, nothing developed beyond friendship between them.
It was shortly after my sisters wedding that Bill and Corrine started texting each other. And when she decided to move to BC as well, Bill took the weekend off to her. It didn't take long for them to start dating and soon after, Corinne moved to Penticton and their relaionship began to grow. It was pretty clear right from the beginning that these two were a perfect match for each other. Their dates consisted of hiking, biking and adventures, so it only made sense for Bill to ask for her hand on top of hill overlooking the Valley.
Their wedding was a whirlwind weekend but filled with family, friends and fun. My lovely niece Geneva, who had second shot for me in the past, agreed to help me out once again which is how I could be both photographer and bridesmaid. She took the shots I couldn't take because I was either walking down the aisle or in the photo. It was an honour to watch my big brother fall in love, to photograph their wedding day and to stand with them as they exchanged vows.
