They all arrived together, Bride, Groom, their daughter and their parents. She was beautifully dressed in a stylish white shorts and tank top set and he looked relaxed and quite dapper in his casual suit. We were taken down to the ceremony site by golf cart in pairs. The spot was breathtaking. On a cliff, beside the vines and overlooking Okanagan Lake, they sipped bubbly and waited for everyone to be escorted down. Once we were all in place, the ceremony started. Short and sweet, filled with laughter and tears of joy, this wedding was simply lovely. After a kiss we took turns being carted back up to the winery where papers were signed. Once family photos were taken, it was just Tera, Kyle and I. I had been looking forward to taking photos at this location ever since Tera told me where they planned on getting married. Lake Breeze reminds me of Tuscany and for an hour or so, I felt like I was in Europe. We walked around the winery taking photos and just enjoying the glorious day. We rejoined the rest of the party at the bistro where they were going to have a celebratory lunch. I took a few photos of the toast and went on my way. It was an honor to be part of such an intimate wedding. It may have been small, short, and simple, with no elaborate decorations or embellishments, but there was no lack of love between everyone at this wedding. Love was the focus, it was the reason, and it was all around us.
