I had just done a wedding out of town the day before and was a little tired from a long but wonderful day. We left for home early in the morning so I could quickly change and head out to Naramata for another wedding. As I was second shooting for Moments Under Frame, and was not the head photographer for the day, I didn't dress quite as formal as I usually do. And as I walked into the gorgeous house her family had rented for the weekend, I felt a little embaresed. I was underdressed. But Angelas family and friends were so wonderful and welcoming that I was instantly put to ease and started to capture the activity as the bride got ready for her big day. Everything about this wedding was breathtaking. The silk robes she and her bridesmaids wore, the fragrant boquets, The custom one of a kind de volk & gosche wedding gown.....it all was so exquisit, like a dream. At one point Anglea said she felt like a princess and she definatly looked the part!
I will forever be grateful to my friend Shaun from Moments Under Frame for giving me the oppertunity to be his second photographer at this wedding. Even though I missed the ceremony, (I had to go rescue a lens that was left behind), I was able to capture the bride as she got ready, some of the wedding party and the beautiful couple.
