Everything about this wedding was very unique to the couple making their vows. From her antique opal engagement ring that Jon found at a consignment sale, to the charming historic schoolhouse they used as their venue. No Isle, no wedding party, no big frills or expensive decorations. Just them, and soft music, and love beyond measure. Simply beautiful! A guitarist played in a corner as family and friends arrived and were seated. Soft candle light flickered off the shadows on the ceiling. When it came time to start the ceremony, Jon and Jess simply stood up and made beautiful vows to each other. Then Jon made sweet vows to his new daughter which made me tear up so much I could barely see through my viewfinder. Rings were exchanged and papers were signed. A meal was shared while everyone talked and laughed throughout the evening which ended with a lovely surprise. Jon and Jess serenaded their guest with an angelic song. Then she serenaded her new husband with "Something Good", a song from the Sound of Music. So much love was inside that little schoolhouse that day. So much joy filled the hearts of everyone there.
